Expanded clay is a popular choice when comes to supliment the level of hidratation of all types of potted plants and capturing all the nutrients that come from the fertilisation process. Furthermore, the expanded clay is used to increase the ventilation of the roots level and stimulate an optimal feeding. The expanded clay beads are lightweight, low density, do not present impurities nor molds and they do not polute the environment. The clay used at expanding the spheres are non-toxic, do not ignite fire and they do not degrate in time throughout athmospherical influences.

How to use:

In case of indoor and outdoor plants in pots or troughs: the expanded clay beads have to be incorporated with the soil used for transplanting, making sure that the mixture becomes a light and aerated matter, in which the roots can easily exchange gases with the athmosphere. Water as needed.

In case of orchids and other epiphytic plants: the expanded clay beads can be used without any other organic elements (ex. hydroponic growing). Water as needed.

In case of decorative plants, both indoor and outdoor: lay a 1-2cm of beads on the surface of the potted sol. Water as usual. It can be also used at aerial plants.
