The Dr.Soil’s Substrate for Citrus recipe was especially created in order to cover the needs of plants belonging to Rutaceae family accomodated to containers, giving them great drainage, good aeration of the roots and sufficient nutrients for flowering and ripening.

• the premium mediterranean pine bark humus used in this recipe also eases the drainage and prevents the development of molds and other pathologies. This natural element helps keeping the integrity of the roots and prolongues the life of the plant, stimulating the development of fertile branches.

• the granulation of mediterranean pine bark selected for this particular mixture gives great aeration characteristics to the entire growing media, stimulating the gases exchange with the atmosphere and a better absorbtion that facilitates the photosynthesis.
• this recipe has all the natural nutrients in its composition that covers the need of fertilisation the Citrus needs for up to 3 months. Furthermore, it regenerates the plant from stress, it strenghtness the plant immunity against bacteriological attacks and it stimulates the plant to flower and to get healthy, savory fruits.

Dr.Soil's Recipe

✗ Composition:

Premium pine bark in a very fine granulation
Powdered Dry Biohumus
Finely Granulated White Peat
Horticultural Perlite
Organic matter

✗ Better used for:
Citrus Plants (Lemon, Orange, Pomelo, Lime, Mandarine, Clementine, Kumquat etc.)

✗ Storage Conditions:

Keep in dry and ventilated areas.

Keep out of reach of children.

How to use:

1. Choose a suitable pot and place a few pebbles at the base to ensure proper drainage of the water.
2. Then pour a layer of substrate and prepare a hole to place the new plant.
3. Carefully remove the cactus or succulent plant from the old pot and gently clean the old substrate from the roots.
4. Place the plant in the new pot, cover the roots with the substrate and press lightly and evenly around the plant. Then water the plant slowly and moderately.

Repeat watering in 7 days. If necessary, add another layer of substrate. Allow the substrate to settle naturally in the pots and the roots to adapt to the new environment. After 7 days, watering resumes normally. No fertilisation is required for a period of 6 months.
