How to use Dr.Soil’s receipe for Cymbidium & Pseudobulbs
Choose a special pot for your orchid, given the size of the plant. When planting, you should start by cleaning the orchid of all dead parts (leaves, roots). Then, you should wash gently the roots so you get rid of all the old substrate.
In the new pot you should add a layer of this product so that the plant will perfectly fit in the pot.
Then you put the plant in and gently cover it with the substrate, pressing easily and evenly around the plant. In the first 7 days you will not water the plant, allowing the substrate to settle naturally into the pot and the roots to adapt to the new environment. After 7 days watering will be resumed to normally. There is no need to fertilize the plant for 6 months. After 6 month we recommend to add to your plant the right dosage of Dr.Soil’s Treatment for Indoor Plants.
Using this treatment contributes to:
Maximum ventilation of the roots – the airy structure of the substrate provided by the high content of premium pine bark, prevents the damaging of the roots, facilitates evaporation of excessive moisture and ensures no mold growth conditions;
